Exchanges with the French design team brought together by Kaleido Design resulted in the creation of a venerable turtle, symbol of both longevity and wisdom. Mediator between the world of submarine gods and men in the Urashima Tarô tale, she is also associated with the founder of the pottery line of the Yumino figurines, whose name is written with the character «Turtle» (カメ). Three forms of eggs accompany this turtle, which take the turtle’s patterns(shell, scales and tail) and give these pieces a traditional protection power linked to the patterns: protection of the outside world, power, strength and longevity.
