PEACE WINDS JAPAN . PEACE CRAFTS SAGA . 2017
The works showcased for Salon Révélations 2017 were all specially created for the occasion by the artisans of Saga, in collaboration with a team of designers and associated artisans. Straight from the workshops, they carry a creative energy that remains intact, capturing a daily struggle to exist and to convey a certain vision of the world and life, which we wish to deliver before your eyes.
Animated by the desire to create a movement that defends artistic crafts and its values, we fully join the approach of the Ateliers d’Art de France.
In 2015 we participated for the first time at the Salon Révélations where we supported the artisans of a northern region of Japan, Tôhoku, who were affected by the great tsunami. It was the warm welcome received from the French public on this occasion, and the recognition of the work of these craftsmen, which is why we decided to set up the Peace Crafts project. Our ambition is to develop our capabilities in the field of craftsmanship to accompany our main fields of action supporting those affected by war and catastrophes.
